RE: Today's LTAR
I don't listen to the station consistently enough to accurately gauge
the rotation. I do know when I first got the radio almost 2 years ago,
I drove with a coworker to the Carolinas listening to the station
without a repeat for about a week. When I listen now, I occasionally
catch a piece that I've heard previously but not that often.
I am impressed with the depth of their library, though not necessarily
the content. It has been relatively rare that I've had to explain
history to someone to understand a piece but, every now and then,
someone will reference Carter, Reagan, Bush I or even Nixon in one of
the bits. What I'm more surprised at is the "rawness" of some of the
routines. I couldn't ever imaging Redd Foxx doing n***er jokes on the
radio. Some of the bits are only funny because of their limited shock
value.

How long is each channel's "rotation"? Meaning how long before they
start
repeating the same comedy bits? I remember being on a long flight as a
kid (Chicago to Sea/Tac I think...against the jet stream the whole way)
and
the comedy (audio) channel in-flight only had about 45 minutes of
material
and that wasn't nearly enough.
