um, somewhere along the line, has the line been blurred?  used to be that 
licenses were granted to broadcasters with some sort of minor caveat 
involving "the public."  radio as a public address system is EXACTLY what the 
medium is.  at least that's what they tried to impart upon me at Grahm.  (were 
you absent that day??)(duckin'& grinnin')
