RE: Hutch

Indeed there seems to be a time finding engineers to do different things.
And that gives opportunities for inspiring engineers/shade tree techs who
take advantage of the situation to do engineer's light work, shall we say...
I'm a bootstrapper and love it when I come across a standalone station
looking for help (eng tech or board/on air). I take the shifts no one wants
or are open due to vacation, etc. Morning drive, PM drive, evenings,
overnights during the week -- I take vacation days from my normal work in
the US Navy to do shifts sometimes. Anything that gives me a chance to
develop some iota of talent on the air - I'm on it. Unlike Bill, I never had
to lug any cart racks, but you know Bill O, that remote console for what
used to be WLLH 1400 (1978)- that weighed as many as 5 or 6 WHDH Cart racks.
And no handles... photos available upon request...

It's a shame they didn't have a tradeout for a staff Chiropractor.
