scifi TV

This is slightly off topic but all of this talk about
scifi TV makes me wonder...  Dos anyone know if the
show FARSCAPE ran in another country(australia???)
prior to being released here?  It seems to me that
maybe they ran a year or so over there before
releasing it here.
