Ozone on 'RKO?

One of the morning papers (Herald, maybe Globe-- I
read through 'em at lunch) hinted that WAAF's John
"Ozone" Osterlind would make an appearance on sister
station WRKO today to announce that he's been named
(permanent?) co-host of Peter Blute's 'RKO morning
show, effective May 29.

WRKO and WAAF had no "official" mention of it on their
websites, but 'RKO's Howie Carr Messageboard had a
post by someone who'd heard on the air earlier today
that Osterlind would indeed be the new morning
co-host.
(WRKO took down all their on-site messageboards except
for Howie's). There were three posts on the board
regarding Osterlind joining Blute and all were
thumbs-down on the choice.
