a question for tape/aircheck traders

I posed the following question at the Yahoo Airchecks
R Us club, and am repeating it here in case any
aircheck collectors wish to respond:

Here's an interesting question to pose to my
fellow members: why do you trade tapes? For
what reasons (I'll give some below)?...Feel free
to mention your own reasons for collecting
airchecks:

--so I can get as many IDs of every station 
possible

--because radio in my area stinks and this way
I can get something interesting

--to hear more of my favorite types of music
(music that isn't on the dial in my area, or
there's not enough of it for me)

--for historical purposes (would be fun to hear
this stuff decades from now)

--to hear the styles of the DJs or hosts; to
hear unusual promos or commercials

--because I like a show and it's not on in my
city (example: no-one in New England airs "Le
Show" but someone who has it in their local
area tapes it for me)

There may be other valid reasons as well.
(In my own case: to hear more of my fave styles
of music and to hear styles of DJs, etc; and to
hear shows not on in my area.)
