Re: a question for tape/aircheck traders



People collect airchecks for various reasons.  Some collect tapes of a
particular station or stations in a particular market for an extended
period of time.  Others get tapes of favorite air personalities.  Still
others collect them for the jingles, legal ID's, or other imaging.  Most
don't do it for the music since many airchecks are "scoped," meaning
most of the songs (and often the commercials) are edited out, with just
the content between the records being saved for posterity.
