Thanks for your comments. Though being a skilled full service AC host won't
get you a job these days. I first began to love radio listening to WGAN in
the early 1980's. Listening to people like Bruce Stevens, Bob Grady, Nick
Senaca, Joe McMillian and Chuck Igo on WGAN showed me what radio should be
like. Fortunately, I got a chance to try my hand at full service AC before
it disappeared. I also got to work with four of the five people mentioned
above and met Bruce Stevens a couple of years ago and enjoyed making him feel
old by telling him that I listened to him when I was in junior high.
As for talk radio, listening to WGAN these days, I think the kind of talk
radio that I admired is going as well...
