Did you by chance hear them use the positioners "this is the news station"
or "on the news station"? If so, it's AP Network News's 24/7 news feed. I
don't know how many affils they have or how many stations actually run it
all the time (as opposed to just overnight). Never heard the feed on any
station in these parts, but I have heard a station (in Colorado) that did
nothing but. As satellite news feeds go, it isn't bad. More variety than,
say, Bloomberg, which often repeats everything in about a 10-minute
rotation. Boy does THAT get old fast!
