This was sent to me by Arnie Ginsburg:

"WRKO is doing a "Big 68 Countdown" this Friday & Saturday for 48 hours;
playing the 68 all time hits. I intro ten of the records in the countdown
which runs with continuous repeats for two days (that is, the countdown goes
from #68 to #1 and then repeats the countdown again. Naturally, WRKO
cancelled all talk shows.

I use the usual horns bells & whistles & personalized voice tracks and
jingles by Chubby Checker, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jay & the Americans, Sonny &
Cher etc. It was lotsafun taping the intros. My voice still sounds identical
to the way it was in the 50's 60's & 70's."
