WTOP et DXing

Friday night overnight, I was doing the "DX Thing"....

Picked up WTOP In DC.  

It was about 1:15AM...and after hearing 4-5 minutes of them reading news
stories I heard the following..."It's 20 past the hour....with news you
can use, I'm Ashley Martella".  (Ashley, you may remember, worked here
at WEEI 590AM...and then went to the networks.)

This sounded an awful lot like a "generic news feed (i.e.."..past the
hour"...no call letters, etc.).  Is WTOP running some national news feed
overnights?

Anyone know?

Also, was interesting to hear them in a spot break identifying
themselves as "WTOP FM XXX and 1500AM...".  With the FM frequency first.
