Not even here in south Florida.  You see, to many younger demographics, news
(or any type of serious talk) is a turnoff.  I'd say that there would be no
news, period, if many station Program Directors had it their way. Hey, why
not fire everyone on the radio and play a jukebox format?  I hope not, but
with all this syndicated stuff, and plain-vanilla time-and-temp jocks, it
may not matter.
