Absolutely. WRGB was on 4 (and I guess WNHC-TV was on 6) until the TV freeze
ended in the mid 50s (1954?). At that point the FCC opened up the UHF band,
changed the spacing rules on the VHF bands, and announced a new TV
allocations table. This resulted in several stations being assigned new
channels. Among them were WRGB and WNHC-TV.
