Re: Marshfield cable TV controversy

In Biddeford, Maine, the City Council shut down the community access station
because they didn't like some of the shows. One of the local Green party
gadflies had a show where she allegedly libeled some folks and the Council
used the excuse of possible legal liability for the city as an excuse to
shut down the station. After a few months off the air, the station now just
runs official government meetings and programming.
