Comcast and Meredith have all ready signed into an agreement to carry W67DF
or whatever it's 45 equivalent is.
Charter and Meredith have yet to be determined (Charter & Comcast serve the
majority of cable operations in the
Springfield area).
As for the questions about W67DF's transmitter, it is currently located side
mounted on the WHYN-FM tower at the big towers on Mt Tom. WGGB-TV , who owns
the towers on the mountain was unaware of WFSB's intention on the matter.
The 20kW application is for a directional antenna that is basically aimed
south. This also backs Garrett's cable theory even more, as the cable
receive site for this area is located on East Mountain in Westfield (almost
due south-south west of Mt Tom.).
