If memory serves Mr. Bittner can read the list but not respond due to
HTML-email issues with AOL. So hopefully he'll get this:
If he can record the show to CD or MP3, either of which is pretty easy*
then he can submit them to be distributed via Cafepress.com. For a few
bucks, anyone who wants it can get a copy of that month's show. Ditto for
MP3.com, too. They've made it dirt simple to do. Hell, I'd be happy to
show Bob how to do it.
* I would assume Bob records direct into his automation system...Digital
Jukebox if I recall correctly...and I don't know if it can export direct to
MP3. That would be the easiest way to create the Audio CD's on Cafepress
or MP3.com. If he prefers, a home CD burner is not that expensive...Best
Buy has a nice little KLH for $200...and then you just mail the CD to
Cafepress each month and they do the work.
OR, if Bob willing to give me permission and LTAR is on a fairly strict
time schedule, I can set up my computer at home to record it each month
over-the-air (I live by BC...well within WJIB's range) and upload it to
Cafepress for him. Of course, the nice thing here is that it'll cost Bob
next to nothing, if nothing period, to do it. And something tells me
there's at least a few folks outside of the Boston area who'd be willing to
pay a few bucks to get their LTAR :-)
Bob - let me know privately if it's something you want to pursue.
