media, David Bloom was more of a celebrity than Michael Kelly. This does 
not imply that the loss of one is any greater than the loss of the other.

On a national level, many of us knew David Bloom from Imus, the Weekend 
Today Show, and his time as an NBC White House correspondent. Many of 
those on the networks not only worked with and respected him, but 
considered him a friend, as well.

On a national level, fewer people knew who Michael Kelly was because he 
worked in print.
