Yes.  Two reasons:

1.  David Bloom was better known to the average person.  It took my awhile
to place him.  I remembered him because he was fired from the New Republic
for being critical of Gore.

2.  There is lots of video to use to do tributes to Bloom.  Reading parts of
Kelly's famous columns just won't work on TV.
