Interesting that listeners were considered bright enough back then to know
that "somewhere around 7" was WRKO and "around 15" was WMEX, to the left
of 10 was WCAP, the right, WBZ, etc.  FMers all seem to "point __" now.
"Oldies 103" seemed to "sing" so much better than the "point 3" that was
appended years later.  Gotta believe the numbers blew the roof off of the
sales department once the mystery was solved as to the full dial
position....  (How long will it take for someone to dive in with the "But
WBZ was 103 but that's AM and WODS is FM and, and, .....)
