Or, you could go to one of the various weather sites on the internet where 
you enter your location and get the forecast for your specific area.  In 
most cases, you are getting a county forecast, although the forecast for 
interior Rockingham County is often a different one than the one for the 
coastal areas.

For reference, on Thursday Accuweather.com was calling for 6.4 inches for 
interior Rockingham (derived by totalling the hourly amounts), which was 
damn close to what we got.
