You are correct.  They are primarily on Christian stations.  When I worked
at WOXO, which is a country station, the station was a USA affiliate because
the AMs ran some of the religious programming on the network but we also ran
three minutes of the USA Radio Network news each hour.  I was even
occasionally embarrassed coming on after their newscasts knowing that many
of the stations listeners would not be happy with the overtly biased
coverage.  I think the owner ran the newscasts because they were free.  I
ran hundreds of their newscasts, and while slanted, I never heard them in
the newscasts urge political action as was apparently done recently.  I as
said, from what I have heard, they are a rightwing radio version of
journalism practiced by publications like the Phoenix and the Village Voice.
