I first heard them about 20 years ago providing hourly news for WEZE. 
Based on the choice of topics, I figured they were a service for
religious radio stations.  That seems to be the case, since USA Radio is
part of an informal consortium of several Christian-oriented networks
that transmit using the same satellite system, as indicated here:
