I believe you're referring to WSIA?   WSIA is run ver-r-r-r-r-y differently 
than WJUL is, with a real focus on TRAINING the students.  I don't know 
much about how WJUL is run but I was under the impression that it's 
student-run, free-flowing, no real major agenda...that's rather different 
from WSIA, who actually rents out their studios as professional mix space 
for bands that can't afford normal rates for studio time in NYC.
