Fwd: Sox (and WEEI?) nix WWZN deal

The Red Flops can move to Oshkosh for all I care, if they'd only take
NESN off my cable TV and rebate the 2 buck-plus. But the one thing about this
article that caught my eye: Bill Griffith now acknowledges that WWZN is a
50,000-watt station! Ok now, let's work on the Globe's TV Booklet's
radio station listings:
they still have WCCM at 800khz; describe WBPS-AM 890 as ethnic; and give WBOQ-FM's
format as classical!
(OK, WBOQ carries the Metropolitan Opera on Saturday afternoons and tapes
of live performances of the Detroit Symphony on Saturday nights, I think
for the fees.) --
