Are you sure about that?  After reading the article, I
came away with the impression that CCU would only be a
partner in the whole process, and that this whole
"reconstruction" project, if you will, will actually
be predominantly controlled by the current landlords
of the clubs already on Landsdowne St that were
mentioned in the article.  Now thats not to say that
CCU won't have complete control over booking bands for
these venues, so they will have a whole lot of
influence in that regard, but all in all I did not get
the impression that they were quite literally
'controlling everything' right down from buying up all
the property and ordering everything torn down and
rebuilt, whcih was the original impression I got when
I read your subject line.
