RE: Boston spring 2002 Arbitrends-- two questions
Acutally, those numbers are 1 month behind....the Spring 2002 (Apr-May-Jun)
numbers for Boston were released July 19th.
WBZ did drop a point+ (9.3 in Mar-Apr-May Trend to 8.1 for Spring 2002)
WBOS actualy is trending up (2.4 in Spring 2002, they're highest rating in
over a year) and WTKK may have peaked (Last Fall at 2.5, they've been
basically steady since at 2.4 in Winter and 2.3 in Spring)
Jam'n 94.5 (WJMN) gained a point (5.2 Winter to 6.2 Spring) to leapfrog over
Magic 106.7 (WMJX) into second place. 'MJX dropped from 2nd to 4th with a
1/2 point drop (5.8 to 5.3)
WWZN (1510 the Zone) is actually steady at 0.5 from Winter to Spring, while
WEEI is up 0.8 from 3.3 to 4.1, my guess is the Red Sox early season success
(which alas has gone by the boards...AGAIN!) helped 'EEI's gain.
Just some of the action....
