I was thinking of the liberals on the National Public
Radio shows, which are subsidized by the Corporation
for Public Broadcasting.

Some states also subsidize public broadcasting
operations.  The State of Maine covers the cost of
maintaining and running the transmitters for Maine
Public radio and TV.  The actual programming is, in
theory, supported by other funds but the $2.5 million
that Maine Public Broadcasting gets from the state is
their largest single source of funds.  Maine voters
also approved a bond issue to help fund the conversion
to digital TV.
