Since you mentioned it, is that the reason WFNX went from alt-rock that was 
really cutting edge to being more of a clone of WBCN?   I remember 
listening to WFNX and finding it to be pretty groundbreaking when I came to 
college, circa 1994-1995, then around 95-96 they shifted and went down the 
tubes IMHO...but I wonder if their ratings went up or down.

Of course, now that WBCN is rapidly moving to all-talk (will someone shut 
Nik Carter up!!! :-)  I suppose WFNX is now more cutting edge by default.

Not that it matters - if I want really cutting edge rock I go to WZBC ;-)
