If that's the case...and the game does indeed wind up
only on WBCN, it's time for WEEI to pull those liners
that say "You're listening to the home of the
2002 Super Bowl!". Since the Pats are involved,
that may not be the case...

By the way, the NFL is protective about the
trademarked term "Super Bowl" and in some cases,
radio or TV stations doing a promotion involving the
game will not be able to say those words without
"express permission". WRKO used to do these "Big
Game Bashes"... a get-together where people watch
the game on a big screen, eat, meet some 'RKO
personalities, etc. While their newscasters could say,
"The Super Bowl take place tonight...", their promos
for such event would say, "Come to the WRKO Big
Game Bash".
