People who were coming of age in the 1980's remember the music, just as
those of you who came of age in the 50's, 60's, and 70's remember the music
of you era. I think the reason that the 80's format has failed is that
Generation X is not stuck in the past like you Baby Bombers. ;-)

Below are the top 10 singles from 1987:

10. Shake You Down - Gregory Abbott

   9. I Knew You Were Waiting for Me - Aretha Franklin and George Michael

   8. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2

   7. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - Starship

   6. I Wanna Dance With Somebody - Whitney Houston

   5. La Bamba - Los Lobos

   4. Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi

   3. With or Without You - U2

   2. Alone - Heart

   1. Faith - George Michael

Now, I'll admit that the top 10 from 1965 are more memorable, but you still
here the U2 songs and Bon Jovi on the radio on a regular basis.
