Arnie Ginsburg absolutely made it onto WRKO. Stealing Woo Woo from WMEX was a coup at the time. Ginsburg was the original 6-9PM Now Crowd jock. The jocks honored the engineers strike in May of that year and would not cross the picket line. When the engineers strike ended in June he had been served on the non-compete and was off the air.
