RE: Propagation 1965--Propagation 1961et al
I have found the best time to do DXing around sunset and during the night..
during the day, unless there is a thunderstorm or other strange cloud
formations, Dxing really isnt that useful. I have never tried TV Dxing.
Somewhere in our cellar we have an old TV.. maybe I should try to do TV
DXing, it sounds pretty exciting. Just a thing about TV Dxing.. when I was
in Island Falls, Maine this summer, I was watching WLBZ via an antenna (for
what reason I dunno.. we had antennas and cable there) from Bangor and
suddenly I got a TV Station in the background with a web address on the
screen. It lasted about 1 minute. I wrote down the website then when I got
home looked up the site, and to my suprise, it was KCBS in Los Angeles. I
thought it was WCBS in New York, but it was KCBS.. I couldn't believe it. It
was around 4:30 in the afternoon. I oughta try TV DXing, it sounds
interesting
