Yes, I remember that.  They had a Top 40 format, as I recall, in the 
1960s.  I remember later tuning them in and finding that they were 
WHN.  I thought this was strange, since I didn't think stations could get 
three-letter calls any more.  Then I saw the Marx Brothers movie "A 
Night At the Opera," and it contained a scene with a radio microphone 
labelled "WHN."  Eventually, I realized that the station must have 
returned to its original call letters.
