Why?????

I'm sort of surprised that they'd even be bothered signing a contract
considering that I thought that the Expos were on the fast track to the
Metro D . C .-Northern Virginia area once held by the Senators. Has Peter
Angelos held up the works considering that the Orioles have by and large had
a free ride in the Baltimore-Washington area the last 30 years and would
hurt their attendance at Camden Yards or is Expos ownership trying to make a
concerted effort to survive against the popularity of the Canadians?
