The Boston Globe reported today that the CRTC in Canada has
told Howard Stern's radio station in Toronto that he can't mock
what's called "a protected group." They said he made fun of
mentally disabled people by calling himself "king of the retards"
and talking about how a "retarded home" lowers neighboring
property values.

The station has to put the CRTC ruling on the air in heavy listening
periods, but there wasn't any further penalty talked about in the
story.
