A ham friend who works for a major satellite control station on the east coast reported the following to me this morning: Spent all day yesterday at the earth station waiting for nothing to happen. Got home at 03:30 this morning. The only problem we had was one of our gen sets leaked anti-freeze. Tighten up the hose clamp and that was that. So much for Y2K.
