Regarding Martin Waters' mention of WARE in Ware changing later this 
weekend....

This is a sad story.  An example of a lone AM in a small market not being 
able to survive on its own.  And its apparent only value is to use it as a 
rim-shotter (and not a very effective one) into a semi-distant market.

Had the chance, while traveling to Amherst last weekend, to listen to WARE.  
Enjoyed the old jingles (truly early 60's jingles made more recently) along 
with the 60's & 70's oldies, many of which don't get too much airplay on 
FM's.   

Hope someone is running tape on this great station this weekend.
