Alan Sagal: Emerson alumnus

        The WVIT web article about the death of Alan Sagal, who was from
New Haven originally, says that he graduated from Emerson with a degree in
broadcast journalism. While in college, he was news director of WERS and
received UPI's Tom Philips Award for the best college election coverage in
1964.
        He worked at WSTC/Stamford and WICC/Bridgeport before joining WTIC,
where he worked 1974-78 and 1979-1900.
