what they did in college radio

So there I was going through some old clippings and found one from 1950
when Dave Maynard was the News Director (!) of WERS-FM at Emerson.  And I
also found a column by a certain Ron Polcari (later known as Ron Robin)
from 1965-ish, also at Emerson, wherein he explains why FM is important and
why the programming of WERS-FM is far superior to what is being played on
top-40 AM radio...

Anybody on the list go to college with anyone who ended up on the air in
Boston (or greater New England) radio?  Several folks I know from
Northeastern, where I went to college, ended up on the air or even owning a
station...
