Business Week reported late on Thursday that Clear Channel Comm. has
offered $18 billion for Chancellor Media's radio division. If the
stock-for-stock deal happens, Clear Channel will have 930 stations
on paper. It will probably have to sell off nearly 100 signals
in the overlapping markets to satisfy FCC regulations.
