No, but supposedly (as reported in the Boston Globe a month of so ago), the
WCCM calls and English-language programming will be moving to 1490, the WNNW
calls and programming will be moving to 800, and the WHAV calls and
programming will be moving to 1110. The change is (or was) supposed to take
place in late summer. For English speakers in most of the Merrimack Valley,
this will limit the choices to WCAP and WLLH (among local AM signals). 1490
may make it to Lawrence (albeit not too well), but I think that Lawrence is
now about 75% Hispanic. So the fact that English speakers in Lawrence may be
able to pick up a third local AM broadcasting in English is not important to
very many people. Lowell, where the percentage of English speakers is higher
than in Lawrence, doesn't hardly get 1490 at all--especially at night.
