In response to my remembrance of a dumb but effective ad from a
quarter-century ago, Hopper wrote: "Former WEMJ GM Gary Howard was the
announcer who shouted 'Red Dunn!'
several times in the commercial you remember."

No kidding???  Thanks...I think.  Now I'll never be able to look at Gary
the same way again!  He's now back at New Hampshire Public Radio as
Director of Corporate Relations (I think that's the public radio
equivalent of sales manager) after a stint as GM at 96.5 Bedford when it
was The Fox.
