Something to do with 'Cozy" radio? Like maybe soft rock? I have a WCOZ
album
with local rock bands on it but I can't remember if there was something
before
that.

WCOZ started as a "beautiful music" station, like WJIB was in the 70's and
80's (also called "elevator music")
Prior to that, it was WHDH-FM (and was still part-time "beautiful music"?) I
know they had the Red Sox as WHDH-FM simulcasting their AM850 station.
I would guess your 'COZ album is after the switch to rock.
What always surprised me about the pre-rock WCOZ was that they actually had
a "Bumper Sticker" campaign with Pink bumper stickers that said something
like "I getting COZy at 94.5"
