WNAC-TV (1948)

 I tried to research the first days of Channel 7 yesterday, and found very
little coverage on the Hub's second station.

 From listings in the Herald and Globe, it appears that SE7EN first came
on around June 21st, 1948, but with no local programming. The only thing
listed in their program schedule was coverage of the Republican Convention
from Philadelphia.

 First LOCAL event listed of any kind was a Cubs-Braves baseball game the
end of June. 

Anybody have something better than this?
