Three tower sites in question in Connecticut, which I would like to know
who they belong to: (Staring out of bus windows on 4 1/2 hour trips to New
York City force you into these desperate measures...)
One is right on the Fairfield/Bridgeport border. You can see it right after
exit 25 as you are heading south on I-95. They are three fairly small
towers in what appears to be a straight line.
Another set is a two-some in the New Haven area. Again, these are also
visible on I-95 and are on top of a hill of some sort. They are also
visible to anyone taking the Metro-North Railroad into NYC; the railroad
underpasses the highway right after you see the towers. I believe it is
somewhere in the enighborhood of exit 40-something, sorry the memory does
not serve me too well at this particular moment.
There is also a single tower which lies to the south of downtown Stamford
on your commute heading into the city.
As Dan Billings said last week, I think being on this list makes you
interested in tower sites. Not that I wasn't before, but I would sure like
to know which stations broadcast from these facilities.
