What can be done with AM?
1) - Beautiful Music (no FM would even pick that up anymore excepting
Florida)
2) - 60's-70's-80's "Middle of the Road" music, the kind HDH & BZ played in
the 80's.
Don't say Magic 106.7 is doing it. The AM idea is with more Neil
Diamond, Glenn Campbell, Simon & Garfunkel, Fifth Dimension, etc.
3) - Jazz
4) - Local Shopping (like "AM-900 in Brunswick, Me).
5) - All-Psychic (Talk) - (Hold on.... it's coming!)
6) - REAL progressive rock. The FM's still play "safe music", even WAAF, and
now to a lesser extent WFNX.
7) - Folk. Yes, with a signal better than WADN's.
8) - Traditional Country
9) - Country Oldies 70's 80's, early 90's.
10) - Talk for middle & older demos (WRKO has fragmented toward young, and
besides, they need a competitor.
There are more, but that's all I can think of now.
