Or, how about "New Jersey 101.5". Calls escape me just now, but if
you've ever heard the station (which, I believe is number 1 overall in
NJ..), you'd hear oldies from 60's, 70's, 80's and currents, kind of
like the old "full service" stations of old. They have a FULL news
department and talk shows during afternoon drive (and probably
elsewhere). Perhaps that would do well.

Also, when I was in Texas, there was this station in San Antonio called
KZDC, 1260 I think was the freq... maybe someone can look it up for me,
at any rate, it was the hardest heavy metal rock station I ever heard!
Still on the air, by the way. I should check arbitrons on it as there
were rumours it actually did well and showed in the ratings with the big
boys like KTSA and KTFM, etc..

BTW, Jibguy, I heard WJIB yesterday and it sounds pretty good. Listened
on 495 north to Rt. 2 and was able to hear 'JIB to Fitchburg/Leominster
area. Pretty much lost it in the noise west of Gardner, but there was
noticable interference from another 740 from somewhere else.

How refreshing your station is. Listening on a comparatively "good" car
radio AM, 1985 Ford Tempo factory radio. At least they made an attempt
at AM fidelity then.

Later.
