What sort of "news" format would WFNX run? Kind of a local MTV News,
with band gossip, club dates, album reviews? Or "alternative"
journalism, with alternative-lifestyle shows, political muckraking, News
of the Weird?
Seeing as how what teens and early-20s listeners want from radio --
music, music, and, oh yeah, music -- hasn't changed that much in the 20
years since I was in that demographic, it seems unlikely that a
Phoenix-based news format would fly.
