Maurice Cohen, RIP, 100 yrs old.

It is with sadness that I announce the passing of Maurice Cohen, one of the
founders of 980, WCAP, Lowell, Mass.

 

He died on June 3 in Boston following a short illness.     He and his
brothers Israel and Theodore started WCAP in 1951...Maurice owned and
operated the station until 2008.

 

His service will be tomorrow (Friday, July 23) at 10am at The Montefiore
Cemetery, Pulpit Rock Rd, Pelham, NH.
