Indeed. AM can have some quaint stations like WJIB or WJTO...WBZ and WRKO are certainly worthy, etc. but the action is on FM. And the listeners, the majority of them.

 Thankfully CBS and Entercom have given us sports on FM. Before WEEI went to FM, I could have had a situation at work where the Pats or B's could be heard via 98.5, but the Red Sox could be in the World
 Series yet I'd be unable to hear it because they were stuck on the interference-laden AM band. Kudos to both stations for much local content (and it shows in the ratings).
